Stubby works at Rivertown Antiques in Kalama, Washington. He wandered in 5 years ago (1998) off the street and decided this would be his new home. He was born in 1995 and is part Manx. He is a wonderful shopcat and will let you do practically anything to him. He likes to ride in baby buggies, and has favorite places to sleep all over the store. When we saw him, he was napping in a sunbeam. Stubby had his picture and story in the local paper. His owner had sent in a picture of him to a favorite pet picture contest. He won first place, and made $500 for a no-kill shelter in the midwest. He is a very friendly boy (he's only meowing in the picture below. He's not really ferocious.) and loves to talk.
