Charlie

Charlie is a London pubcat.
He's been working at the 3 Greyhounds since late 1997 when he was about one
year old. He lives above the pub with the resident bartender and his wife.
He doesn't come down much--they say he's kind of a chicken. (As a matter of
fact, when brought down recently, he jumped off the bar onto a customer's
plate!) He may make an appearance when there's hardly anyone there, though.
Charlie is an excellent mouser, loves catnip (we saw him literally digging
into a bag), and likes to sit on people's shoulders. He can be a bit shy,
but loosens up around people after awhile... at least, he did with us (but
maybe that was the catnip working!) His favorite posistion to sleep in is
on his back with his legs pointing up. His nickname is "Chuck."
